Passengers returned from other states by Domestic Airport includes West Bengal (3), Jharkhand (3) and Bihar (1). Passengers returned from other states by road includes Karnataka (1) and Andhra Pradesh (1). Tamil Nadu doesn't use Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Tests (RADT). There may be a difference in number of sample tested given here in the media bulletin and the ICMR portal in view of time-lag between test conducted, results declared that are shared in real time basis by the labs to the state and the districts and the time taken for the data updation in the ICMR portal. Out of 67 deaths due to COVID-19, 35 are in Government Hospitals and 32 are in Private Hospitals. One Private Lab namely Department of Molecular Biology, A.C.S Medical College and Hospital, Chennai has been recently approved and hence the total functioning COVID 19 testing facilities gets increased to 190.
