CDOs have been running the data work on the ground level and helping the OGD Platform successfully deliver through providing Datasets for the Open Government Data Platform. Hence, it is important to acknowledge the efforts of CDOs through a reward and recognition mechanism to bring out the best in them. Therefore, a title of a “Star CDO of the Month” acknowledges their efforts on a monthly basis. Star CDO of the month will be determined based on the efforts of CDOs.

Parameters to become the Star CDO of the Month

A "Star CDO of the Month" is evaluated and his/her name is put up on the Open Government Data Platform basis the parameters given below:

• 1. Status of CDO nomination - Active/Inactive
• 2. Datasets Published.
      a. Total Numbers of resources published
      b. Number of datasets published through web services/APIs
      c. Number of high-value datasets published
      d. Regular update/publish of datasets as per their frequencies
  
• 3. Consumption of Datasets (published manually/web-services/APIs) by Public.
      a. Total number of downloads of resources by users
      b. Number of times published APIs are accessed by users
  
• 4. Number of datasets having ratings 1 Star, 2 Star, 3 Star, 4 Star and 5 Star
• 5. Response to suggestions for Release of Datasets -> Number of published datasets/resources, requested by citizen
